CLEANSER- Applce Cider Vinegar (ACV)

This is by far the best thing I have ever used to cleanse my hair, ever. Better than any high-end or low-end product that I have bought and this is cheap (32 fl. oz. for about $6) I put it in a spray bottle and dilute it with a little bit of water (since by the time I go to put it in my hair, my hair is already wet) and just gently scrub my scalp. I can literally feel the build up just melting away. Another thing, I only apply it to my scalp because when I wash it out, it will run down the rest of my hair anyway. I personally don't like the smell, but luckily the other prodcuts I use after I cleanse are scented enough to rid of the stench :)

COWASH- As I Am Coconut Cowash

I've been using this product for about three years now and it has never failed me. I use it when I need my scalp to get its life together, but the rest of my hair is dry enough to where it doesn't need any shampoo running through it. The consistency is so creamy, but not too runny, it glides right on my hair and makes it feel like straight BUTTER y'all. It has a mild scent, too, that's very refreshing. Where I live here in Texas this runs

about $7-$10. Definitely worth every single penny.

Don't judge me, but this stuff saved my scalp. It may not have the

SHAMPOO- Head & Shoulders

best ingredients, but I used to have horrible dandruff and it completly took it away. I started using this before I went natural, actually. I used to straighten my hair every single day and I already have a dry scalp so, as you can imagine, it was a bad combo. My dad (shoutout to my dad) told me about Head & Shoulders and ever since then I haven't looked back. It cost anywhere from $5-$9 which doesn't break the bank. If you've tried every and absolutely anything to cure your dandruff, try this. It's amazing.

CONDITIONER- OGX Renewing Argan Oil of Morocco Conditioner

I actually recently purchsed this and I don't know what the hell I've been buying beforehand. I really do live on YouTube so I've seen a bunch of curly girls I watch use it, but I didn't really pay it much attention. But, man I wish I did. My hair is so soft after using this, and it's unbelievably easy to detangle once I apply it. I don't buy the little bottle because 1- I use A LOT of conditioner so this would probably be gone by my third wash 'n go & 2- I prefer conditoners with a pump so it's easier for me to apply product while in a wet, slippery, chaotic shower. (I'm six months pregnant, so, showers can be chaotic) If you don't mind this specific packaging it runs anywhere from $5-$6, but, the bigger bottle I buy that's 25.4 fl. oz. is about $11. If you want soft and managable hair, invest in this, please.

LEAVE-IN- L'Oreal EverCurl HydraCharge Leave-In Cream

This is the very first product I bought when I went natural. It smelled good, it was sulfate free, so I thought everything was gucci, and it was. This is a leave-in but when I drowned my hair in the product enough, it gave my hair a hold. And again, it smells delicious. No matter how much I put in my hair, it never made my hair feel greasy or made me feel like I had a lot of build up. I've only ever found it in one size which sucks because I like a ton of product in one bottle, but, it's only $7 anyways so I always snag about two of these.

I believe I read on NaturallyCurly.com on a submitted post that this oil is a must try for naturals whos hair does not take to Olive or Coconut Oil. I had been using Olive Oil for years and never understood why the hydration from my leave-in never lasted, and Coconut Oil dries my hair all the way up, it's ridiculous. (I tried to stick with the LOC method but kind of wandered off.. I should of stuck with it because my hair would be so much longer by now.) So I started applying this to my hair after I apply my leave-in about two months ago and my hair can last a whole five days hydrated, without me having to throw it up in a bun. I still apply it gradually as the days go on but that first day hair is so soft and moisturized. It doesn't leave a cast on my hair or rub off on anything because my hair just drinks it up. My hair really loves it, I don't know why I didn't try it sooner. This is the actual brand that I buy, considering that I haven't found it anywhere else. It's only about $7, I'll be buying it for the rest of my life.

STYLER/GEL- Aussie Catch the Wave Flexible Hold Mousse

This was also one of the first products I bought when I went natural. I knew that my hair needed some type of hold to it so I decided to just keep using mousse, as I would use it when I'd slick my thin, straight hair into buns/ponytails. Don't ask me why I did that, I didn't know jack-crap about hair or what mousse really was, obviously. I don't use too much of this product, probably about two palm-fulls, and it REALLY holds my curls just how I like them to be held. It adds a crunch but not too crunchy to where my hair is at risk of breaking off. It lets my hair last about four days without being re-touched (the ends, anyways) and it also smells GRRREAT. I'm a sucker for how my products smell, I know, typical. I remember it being about $6 at the store, can't quite remember because now I cant find this product anywhere. Not at Walmart, not at Target, not at Sally's. So if you have seen this product or know of where to purchase it, email me! I would really love to have it back in my life.. and my hair.

If you have any suggestions for a blog post I should do or just have a simple question to ask just email me, I won't bite. Don't forget to follow me on Instagram! @PeachyMulatto
